🦁🐢Learning about animal adaptations is WAY more fun when animals come to you! 🦉

Third grade had a very special visit from the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium today! In CKLA Unit 2, we’ve been diving into the world of animal adaptations and learning how animals’ unique body parts and behaviors help them survive in their environments.

Today, we got to take that learning off the page and into real life! Our friends from the zoo brought animal representatives for us to observe up close, ask questions about, and connect to what we’ve been learning in class. #Learn230

During this Friday Morning Meeting, the Lighthouse Team told us about preventing bullying. They even acted out skits about how to be a Upstander for our classmates. #Learn230
