Kindergarten had an APPLE-SOLUTELY wonderful time celebrating Apple day today! Students learned about folk tale legend Johnny Appleseed, labeled the parts of an Apple, practiced counting 10 on top, graphed their favorite Apple flavors as a class, and ate Apple nachos as a grade level outside! 🍎

The author changes the mood of the book from calmly sipping chocolate to a fast-paced thrill ride using rhythm and short sentences and great describing words like “shrieked”, “like crazy”, and “a furious pace”.
